Overview
Dar Zahran Heritage Building is a restored 250-year-old family home located in Ramallah’s Old City. Once the residence of the prominent Zahran family, the building has been carefully preserved and transformed into a cultural center that tells the story of Ramallah’s history and traditions. Its stone arches, thick walls, and traditional courtyard architecture provide a glimpse into Palestinian domestic life in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Today, Dar Zahran is more than a museum — it is a space that bridges Ramallah’s past with its present. Exhibitions, art displays, and cultural events held within its historic walls celebrate Palestinian identity while preserving family heritage. Visitors are invited to walk through rooms filled with photographs, artifacts, and local crafts, experiencing Ramallah not as a modern city alone but as a community deeply rooted in memory and tradition.
