One of the most beautiful villages in the Ramallah district is Turmusayya. It is located 23 km north of Ramallah on the main road No. 60 in a valley called Marj Eid. The village is rich in agriculture, including crops, olive trees, figs, grapes, and almonds. It also has a water spring, which is known as Ein Turmusayya and an ancient olive press with a mosaic floor.

The Turmusayya Municipal council was founded in 1997.
