Umm Al Rihan forest is located at the extreme northwest of Jenin. It consists of a series of dense forests which are estimated cover about 60,000 dunums. The forest areas around Jenin are considered the largest woodlands in the West Bank, equaling approximately 86% of the total forest areas. The area of Umm Al Rihan is state owned and part of the area was proposed as a nature reserve. Unfortunately, due to the existence of the separation wall, the forest is currently is inaccessible from the West Bank.
