Ibdaa' in Arabic means to create something out of nothing, and is a community initiative of Dheisheh Refugee Camp founded in1995. Ibdaa seeks to empower the children of the camp by developing their ability, creativity and leadership skills through social, educational and cultural activities.

Ibdaa strives to provide an environment where the children can explore the true meaning of childhood, which they have been deprived of by Israeli Military Occupation and overwhelming poverty. Ibdaa aims to promote Palestinian heritage and culture to the children, to broaden their awareness and to boost their self-confidence. It also seeks to educate the international community on issues relating to Palestine.
