Issa Sakhleh was my tour guide on my day visit to Bethlehem, Palestine. I visited Israel in May of 2012. Part of my trip included visiting the birth place of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. I was so well pleased by such a greatly orchestrated team led by Issa, which with perfect organization delivered us from Jerusalem to Bethlehem and back, and my group and I visited the church of Nativity. Issa’s complete fluency in English and Italian made it so easy to communicate effectively with everybody. His knowledge in history, friendly attitude and great sense of humor made the whole experience complete. On my next visit, I plan on having Issa again as my guide. It is so rare nowadays to find not only a well-versed knowledgeable professional but also a great person – Issa seems to combine both in his work, and that is why he will be my guide again on my next trip and I am recommending him to all my friends who travel to the Holy Land.
