Tour Description

NABLUS & SEBASTIYA FULL TOUR

The Old City of Nablus: Explore the Old City of Nablus as you walk through its seven old quarters. Stop at an olive oil soap factory and see first hand the traditional soap production. Visit a traditional Turkish bath “Hamam” or stop by one of the famous Nablus Knafashops.

Khan Al Wekala (Caravanserai): Another highlight in the Old City is Khan Al Wekala which historically was established to support exporting and importing by facilitating the merchants’ dealings and providing places for them to stay during their travels. Today, the complex houses a hotel, a Turkish bath, and other facilities.

The Manara Clock Tower: Established in 1892, by the community of Nablus, as a memorial for Sultan Abedel Hamis, who gave them a Clock Tower as a gift.

Jacobs Well: Located inside the Greek Orthodox monastery, the 35 meter deep well has been a site of pilgrimage since the time as tradition hold Jesus asked a Samaritan woman to draw water for him to drink.

Sebastiya: The site of the ancient city of Samaria. There is evidence of at least six civilizations on the site, including significant Roman ruins. You will be visiting (The Forum, The Basilica, The Theater, The Hellenistic Tower, Augstus’ Temple, Omri House, Church of john the Baptist and Tomb of John the Baptist.

Getting to Nablus

Jerusalem to Nablus:

Option 1 – Public transportation via Ramallah: Take bus # 218 from the East Jerusalem Central Bus Station near Damascus gate (located on Sultan Suleiman Street), to the Ramallah Central Bus Station (located on Al Nahda Street). The cost for the ticket is 8 ILS. From the Ramallah Central Bus Station, take a shared taxi (servees) to the Nablus Central Station (located on Rafidiya Street). Ticket cost around 18-20 ILS. Duration: 30 minutes to Ramallah and 1 hour to Nablus

Option 2 – Private Taxi from Jerusalem to Nablus: A private taxi from Jerusalem to Nablus will cost around 500 ILS ($135).

Ramallah to Nablus:

Option 1 – Shared Taxi: Take a shared taxi (servees) from the Ramallah Central Bus Station (located at Al Nahda Street) to Nablus Central Bus Station (located on Rafidiya Street). Cost of ticket around 20 ILS. Duration: Approx. 1 hour.

Option 2 – Private Taxi via West Bank: A private taxi from Ramallah to Nablus will cost around 160 ILS ($45). Duration: Approx. Approx. 1 hour.

Jenin to Nablus:

Option 1 – Shared Taxi: Take a shared tax (servees) from Jenin City Center Station (located on Jama’a Street of Cinema street) to the Nablus Central Bus Station (located on Rafidiya Street). Tickets cost around 17-20 ILS. Duration: Approx.

Option 2 – Public Bus: Take the Jenin/ Nablus bus from the Jenin City Center. Tickets cost around 11-15 ILS. Duration: Approx. 45 minutes.

Option 2 – Private Taxi via West Bank: A private taxi from Jenin to Nablus will cost around 120 ILS ($35). Duration: Approx. 30 minutes.

Jericho to Nablus:

Option 1 Shared Taxi to Nablus: Take a shared taxi (servees) from the Jericho City Center to Nablus Central Bus Station (located on Rafidiya Street). Cost of ticket around 50 ILS.

Option 2 – Private Taxi to Jericho: A private taxi from Jericho to Nablus city center will cost around 200 ILS (approx. $55). Duration: Approx. 60-90 Minutes.

Bethlehem to Nablus (Via Ramallah):

Option 1 – Shared Taxi to Ramallah and connect to Nablus: Take a shared taxi (servees) from the Bethlehem Central Bus Station (located on Manger Street) to Ramallah Central Bus Station (located on Al Nahda Street). Cost of ticket to Ramallah is around 21 ILS. Duration Approx. 45-60 minutes.

From the Ramallah Central Station (Al Nahda Street), take a shared taxi to Nablus Central Bus Station (Rafidiya Street). Cost around 20 ILS. Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours.

Option 2 – Private Taxi via West Bank: A private taxi from Bethlehem to Nablus will cost around 250 ILS ($70). Duration: Approx. 2 hours.

Hebron to Nablus (Via Ramallah):

Option 1- Shard Taxi:Take the shared taxi (servees) from Hebron Central Bus station (located on Wadi Al Tufah Street) to the Ramallah Central Bus Station (located on Al Nahda Street). Ticket cost 28 ILS. Duration: Approx. 1 hours.

Next connect to Nablus via shared taxi from the Ramallah Central Bus Station (Al Nahda Street) to Nablus City Center station (located on Rafidiya Street). Cost around 20 ILS. Duration: Approx. 1 hour.

Option 2 – Private Taxi: A private taxi from Hebron to Nablus cost around 500 ILS ($135).

Nablus to Jerusalem:

From Nablus to Ramallah:

Nablus to Bethlehem:

Option 1 – Shared Taxi to Ramallah and connecting to Bethlehem: Take a shared taxi (servees) from Nablus Central Bus Station (located on Rafidiya Streetr), to Ramallah Central Bus Station (located at Al Nahda street). From there take another shared taxi to the Bethlehem Central Bus Station (located on Manger Street). Price from Nablus to Ramallah around 17-20 ILS. Price from Ramallah to Bethlehem around 21-25 ILS. Duration: Approx 2.5 hours.

Option 2 – Private Taxi – Via West Bank: A private taxi from Nablus to Bethlehem (4 seats) costs around 250 ILS ($70). Duration approx 2 hours

Nablus to Hebron:

From Ramallah Central Bus Station take Hebron shared taxi, which will drop you off at Hebron City Center. taxi cost is around 35-40 ILS. Duration. approx 2.5 hours.

Nablus to Jericho:

Option 1 Shared Taxi to Ramallah and connect to Jericho: Take a shared taxi (servees) from the Nablus Central Bus Station (located on Rafidiya street) to the Ramallah Central Bus Station (located on Al Nahda Street). Cost of ticket around 20 ILS. The taxi will drop you off in the main bus station and from there take Jericho bus or shared taxi. Cost of ticket from Ramallah to Jericho costs around 18 ILS. Duration: Approx. 90 Minutes.

Option 2 – Private Taxi to Jericho: A private taxi from Nablus to Jericho will cost around 220 ILS (appx. $60).

Nablus to Ramallah:

Option 1 – Shared Taxi: Take a shared taxi (servees) from Nablus Central Bus Station (located on Rafidiya street) to Ramallah Central Bus Station located (located on Al Nahda Street). The taxi cost is around 20 ILS. Duration: Approx. 1 hour.
