Palestinian Circus School is pleased to announce Palestine Circus Festival! 10 years now, the Palestinian Circus School has been contributing to this dream. And we love to celebrate this anniversary with all. Palestine Circus Festival will take place between October 6 and 14, 2016 with the participation of many international and local circus artists. We will bring Palestinian and international circus shows, acts and workshops to thousands of children, youth and their families. The performances will take place in Jerusalem, Ramallah, Birzeit, Jenin, Nablus and Al-Fara’a Refugee Camp.
For more information about the festival, check the festival’s Facebook page. And here find the full program of the festival:
The Festival is hosted by Palestinian Circus School, which is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, established in 2006 and registered with the Palestinian Authority since February 2007. It teaches circus in Birzeit and in other cities like Jenin, Hebron, Ramallah and Al-Fara’a Refugee Camp.
The Palestinian Circus School encourages the development of a new form of cultural expression, and a new generation of artists in Palestine. An art form that is dynamic, experimental and aimed at challenging traditional perceptions of arts and artistic interaction.
The school is an open space for creativity on all levels, enhancing a strong participation of all people involved: students, trainers, volunteers and the community at large.
