Kur (Tulkarem)
Another ancient Throne Village, Kur is located in the middle of a triangle consisting of the cities of Nablus, Tulkarem and Qalqilya. It dates back to the 12th century under the Mamluk rule. All of the residents of the village are descendants of the Jayyusi clan. Several mansions such as Abu Naman al Jayyousi’s home are being renovated and restored through support from USAID and UNDP.
